Extending water networks to shelters for displaced people

The Nasaim Palestine Charity Association implemented a project to extend water networks to shelters for displaced people, with the aim of providing a safe and sustainable water source for families residing in shelters, in light of the difficult humanitarian conditions and scarcity of basic resources.

Full Description

Water Network Extension Project for Displaced Persons’ Shelters Amid the overcrowding in shelters and the severe shortage of water resources, the water network extension project serves as a vital lifeline for displaced families. It aims to provide a safe and reliable supply of water for daily use, preserving their dignity and alleviating their suffering. Nasaem Palestine Charity Association carried out the extension of water lines, installation of tanks, and necessary connections within the shelters to ensure access to drinking water and basic household needs, while reducing health risks associated with water scarcity or unsafe sources. The impact of this project goes beyond water provision—it strengthens the psychological and physical stability of displaced families, improves living conditions within the shelters, and reflects the Association’s commitment to standing by affected communities and addressing their urgent humanitarian needs.
